Until 2009 when I moved to the Iowa countryside, I lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area.
As a result of this change I felt spiritually and physically renewed.
This has manifested itself into the construction of an ongoing series of objects inspired by the natural environment, and made from discarded plastic such as retail bags, frozen food bags, and candy packaging.
Through the process of disassembling, I transfigure this mundane discarded material into objects of renewal.
